Temporal Plan Interdependencies

چکیده
Asbru is a complex formal language developed to represent clinical guidelines and protocols which are timeand processoriented. To facilitate and support the modeling in Asbru methods and tools are required. In this paper, we provide a systematic analysis of the various plan components and their temporal interdependences (written in Asbru) to infer heuristics for our methods and tools. We develop different forms of representations to display flows in Asbru to simplify the modeling process.

Plan-Coordination Mechanisms and the Price of Autonomy
Task-based planning problems for multi-agent systems require multiple agents to find a joint plan for a constrained set of tasks. Typically, each agent receives a subset of tasks to complete. Due to task interdependencies, such task allocations induce interdependencies between agents as well. These interdependencies will prevent the agents from making a plan for their subset of tasks independen...
متن کاملCommunicating Time-Oriented, Skeletal Plans to Domain Experts Lucidly
Practical planning systems for real-world environments imply a striking challenge, because the planning and visualization techniques available are not that straightforwardly applicable. Skeletal plans are an e ective way to reuse existing domain-speci c procedural knowledge, but leave room for execution-time exibility. However, the basic concepts of skeletal plans are not suÆcient in our medica...
متن کاملDefining Task Interdependencies and Coordination Mechanism for Colaborative Systems
This paper addresses the issue of coordination matter to the specification of activities in collaborative syst described as a set of interdependent tasks. In order to specify an extensible model encompassing a set of temporal and relations is initially presented. Then, Petri Nets are u coordination mechanisms for those interdependencies. The s and interdependencies/coordination mechanisms allow...
متن کاملDeciding Task Schedules for Temporal Planning via Auctions
We present an auction-based approach to allocate tasks that have complex time constraints and interdependencies to a group of cooperative agents. The approach combines the advantages of planning and scheduling with the ability to make distributed decisions. We focus on methods for modeling and evaluating the decisions an agent must make when deciding how to schedule tasks. In particular, we dis...
متن کاملCoordinating Planning Agents for Moderately and Tightly-Coupled Tasks
Autonomous agents are being introduced in a wide variety of domains, because they promise to increase agility. Example domains where these systems are emerging are such diverse domains as multi-modal transportation, crisis response, firefighting with unmanned aerial vehicles and air traffic control. In general, the tasks that need to be performed in these domains are interdependent, require mor...
